PROVIDE A SUDS COMPLIANT DRIVEWAY AT A DOMESTIC PROPERTY

Specified by The Garden Company LTD for a project in Bedfordshire, the project brief was to provide a gravel stabiliser that could withstand and cope with the day to day traffic this driveway would encounter, Alongside it being  low cost and easy to maintain, it is eco friendly and SUDS compliant. CORE DRVE 50-35HD was advised and sent out to site due to it’s ability to withstand frequent use and the addition of heavier goods vehicles.

PRACTICAL SOLUTION:

USE CORE DRIVE 50-35HD FOR IT’S ABILITY TO WITHSTAND FREQUENTLY DAILY USE

The practical solution to ensure that the driveway was well equipped to encounter the daily traffic was to employ the use of CORE DRIVE 50-35HD Gravel Stabiliser grids. This particular grid was advised due to it’s capabilities to withstand frequent use, as well remaining consistent in it’s ability to retain gravel, manage weed growth and offer a hard standing, fully SUDS compliant surface that looked great. Due to this grid being used, the user can enjoy a gravel driveway that will never have dips or bumps and will sufficiently drain rather than pooling in spots.

Using a gravel stabilisation grid meant the existing surface could be utilized as part of the sub base, producing a significant cost saving and improving the environmental impact of the works. The gravel stabiliser stops gravel migration so there are no issues with rutting, and the porous surface allows water to flow through avoiding surface water build up maintaining a clean surface for pedestrians. The surface is now flat, firm and puddle free.
