REPAIR SUBBASE ACROSS DRIVE AND FILL USING CORE DRIVE STABILISER 50/30

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We suggested using CORE Drive 50/30 gravel stabiliser with a 6mm golden gravel fill, to provide a DDA compliant surface. We stripped up the block paving, recycled it and created the new access ramp. We removed the sand bedding layer, cleaned out the surface water drains and renewed a collapsed section of drainage pipe. We excavated a large crescent shaped flower bed, and laid 150mm of type 1 limestone subbase, whilst patch repairing the existing subbase across the entire drive. Finally, we compacted the driveway to produce a firm even surface and laid a 10mm sharp sand blinding to iron out any minor deformations in the compacted subbase material.
